摘要: 《挪威的森林》是一部张扬死亡美学的小说,充斥着死亡事件、死亡意象和死亡体验。死亡是小说的主要内容和中心,小说以生死链为线索展开叙事,木月—直子—渡边—绿子是小说最主要的生死链。小说的死亡观既有日本传统文化的影子也深受存在主义哲学的影响,死亡在小说中体现出独特的审美意蕴,既显得静美也显得悲美,作为个体救赎的死亡无疑是虚妄的,无助于现代个体的现实回归,只能让个体从存在走向毁灭。

Abstract: Norwegian Wood is a novel displaying death aesthetics,which is flooded with endless deaths,lingering death imageries and death experiences. Death is the main content and also the core of the novel. The chain of life and death is the clue driving the narrative of the novel on which Kizuki,Naoko,Watanabe and Midori are the major characters. The novel conveys the concept of death influenced by both the traditional Japanese culture and western culture,especially the existentialism. Death in the novel has a unique aesthetic implication,appearing tranquil as Japanese tradition,but having the beauty of tragedy at the same time. However,as individual salvation,death is undoubtedly illusive,which does not help the individual to get back to the real world,but destroy him.
