Cultivation and Exercise of the Core Socialist Values Through
Establishment and Inheritance of University Spirit

Abstract

Abstract:

The core socialist values，the accumulation and manifestation of Chinese culture and history，are a set of rules shared
and observed by the Chinese people in judging right from wrong. In universities the core socialist values are best presented by
university spirit. University spirit differs among universities because of their different education goals，but must accord with
the core socialist values and must contribute to its enrichment and development. Therefore，the advocacy and inheritance of
university spirit is an important way of cultivating the core socialist values，and university spirit itself is to develop and get
enriched with passage of time.
