Abstract: At the Copenhagen meeting，China sets targets on emission reduction clearly.Distributed energy systems is a highly efficient and environmentally friendly energy system and should be used as an important means of China′s energy saving and emission reduction.This article describes the working principle of natural gas distributed energy system，application status and problems，finally prospect.By analyzing China′s energy structure and composition，this paper proposes to develop natural gas distributed energy system which can improve the energy efficiency，reduce environmental pollution to a great extent and thus solve the problem of shortage of energy supply.
