Abstract: Construction of learning county is now a focus in the construction of a learning society when China′s economy comes into an era of county-level economy.Taking Shuangliu County as an example，this paper summarizes its success in constructing a learning county and probes into the meaning of “Shuangliu Style”.The study reveals that it is an effective way to promote economic development and quality of human resources，especially agricultural human resources in western county regions by means of learning and innovation.It has been proved to be effective in offsetting local resources shortage and enhance integrated competitiveness.Shuangliu′s efforts have contributed to advancement and integrated development of both urban and rural areas and have rendered urban and rural citizens really enjoy the benefits brought by the construction of a learning society.It can be said that “Shuangliu Style” provides a practical foundation for the construction of a learning society in China.
