Abstract: In this paper，the differences in Chinese and British college students’ employment expectation and unemployment insurance are analyzed. Chinese college
students’ employment is a kind of survival employment expectation pattern，while the British college students employment is a selfrealization employment expectation pattern. The main reason for the employment expectation difference lies in the different unemployment insurance institution. On this basis，the author presents suggestions of promoting unemployment insurance institution in China，holding that unemployment insurance institution should be designed scientifically with focus on the principle of target matching，and operability of implementation.
