Consolidating the Guiding Position of Marxism Lessons fromthe Universalization of Confucianism

Abstract: Confucianism has been the ideology of the feudal society for two thousand years. There must be some lessons to learn from as to how it holds a stable position for so long. Currently,the limitations of Marxism have clearly shown themselves as it only functions in the political sphere,hence the problem of improving the status as a guiding ideology in the socialist community. The general and common character of Marxism and Confucianism makes it possible and necessary for Marxism to learn from Confucianism from the angels of the institutional Marxism,academic Marxism and Marxist secular so as to improve the popularization of Marxism and to enhance the guiding position of Marxism.
