Abstract: During the Chinese people's war of resistance against Japanese aggression, the Shanxi-Chahaer-Hebei border region developed an adaptive battlefield medical system tailored to guerrilla warfare. In the early stage, the focus was on rapid and solid medical support, and a tiered treatment system to ensure continuous care from frontline to rear areas was established. To enhance efficiency, medical personnel were deployed to the frontline to provide "initial wound treatment" to enable prompt rescue of battlefield casualties. During the counter-"mopping-up" operation period, medical support shifted to covert and flexible approaches. With civilian support, decentralized, concealed, and on-site treatment strategies were successfully implemented. This practice not only epitomizes the CPC's medical logistics development amid wartime challenges but also concretely demonstrates the combat effectiveness, organizational strength, and resilience of the CPC during the revolutionary era, offering valuable insights for contemporary medical logistics development.
