THE APPLICATION OF RMT ON EVALUATION OF THE WATER CUT IN BAOLANG OILFIELD

Abstract: After years of waterflooding,the reservoirs in Baolang Oilfield are flooded,and the original reservoir and hydrocarbon property relation broken.It is very important to evaluate the situation of waterflooding.There are no better results after attempting many logging methods.In this study,by using the RMT to monitor and evaluate the typical wells in this field,the RMT can give many valuable parameters,such as the porosity,permeability and the oil saturation.Practical application indicates that by combinating the geological features of the oilfield,designing the appropriate monitoring layer and using the appropriate interpretation model,the flooding situation of the oilfield can be precisely evaluated,the implementation of stabilizing oil production and controlling water production can be realized.
