Abstract: The effect of media deformation on lean reservoir physical property is studied by means of physical simulation experiment.And the result indicates that the influence of pressure sensitivity on permeability and deliverability is great，but it is always neglected by many oilfield development workers.Then,the influence of pressure sensitivity on permeability and deliverability is quantified with reservoir engineering method,one of the methods is proposed to calculate reasonable water-flood timing,and corresponding software is developed.It is practically applied in Jiangsu oilfield and the effectiveness is very well.The research demonstrates that the effect of medium deformation on lean reservoir development should be brought to high attention.It should be cared to choose right water-flood timing and maintain reasonable formational pressure to decrease harmful impact and improve development effects.
