Abstract:

There is a good oil geological condition in the Sha 3 lower subinterval in Chenjia Depression, western Liaohe Sag.Based on seismic, drilling, logging and core data, combined with the distribution of depositional systems and oil geological condition analysis, the sequence stratigraphy and sedimentology characteristics of the Sha 3 lower subinterval are researched to predict favorable subtle traps. The conclusions are as the following, the Sha 3 lower subinterval can be divided into three four-order sequence, and fourth-order sequences are further divided into transgressive and highstand system tracts, there are four kinds of sedimentary systems identified in thtarget layers, including fan delta, nearshore subaqueous fan, lacustrine and deep lacustrine turbidity sedimentary systems, controlled by fault systems and palaeogeomorphy, there are two depositional systems,i.e.,fan delta-shallow lacustrine-deep(hemideep) lacustrine in northern area and nearshore subaqueous fan- deep(hemideep) lacustrine in Southern area, finally, according to the plane distribution, evolvolution features of sedimentary systems and the subtle pool-forming condition,a potential exploration prospect is proposed, which is formed by fan delta front updip pinchot.
