STUDY ON IMPROVEMENT OF THE WELL LOGGING INTERPRETATION METHOD WITH MULTI-FINGER IMAGING TOLL

Abstract: MIT(Multi-finger Imaging Tool) is a tool for detecting trifle deviation and inner corrosion of the case and tube.MIT evaluation system is divided into data processing,interpretation and imaging software.Based on the processing of MIT data,a detailed analysis is carried out for modal line analysis and modal ID in the interpretation software of MIT evaluation system,and a new method based on least square polynomial fitting is proposed to calculate actual diameter without damage.The result shows that the actual diameter is consistent with modal ID calculated with MIT interpretation software.Meanwhile,area loss and weight loss of the case can be calculated by using actual diameter.The method is improved by using WATCH production logging platform,and good result is achieved by processing of MIT data.
