EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON EVALUATION OF SCALE INHIBITORS IN NAO′ER OILFIELD

Abstract: The scaling phenomenon in Nao′er Oilfield influences its normal production badly,and based on the practical and severe scaling situation in this oilfield,an anti-scaling experimental research is carried out.The research mainly investigates the scale inhibition efficiencies of the following frequently-used scale inhibitors:scale inhibitor A,scale inhibitor HYZ,Nanjing-1,Nanjing-2,Nanjing-3 and JL661.The built-up of scale inhibitor A and scale inhibitor HYZ is also tested,and the result shows that the efficiency is the best when the two scale inhibitor is 1∶1 complex.Study on the scale inhibition efficiency to some output of oil/water well in Nao′er Oilfield reveals that when the dosage of the compound scale inhibitor is appropriate,the scale inhibition rate of calcium-magnesium scale can reach more than 96.00%,and that of barium-strontium scale more than 90.00%.
