Abstract: Based on a close research on historical literatures，this paper studies the literary style of Cai Yong，an accomplished litterateur in East Han Dynasty.As a major litterateur in his time，Cai Yong contributed greatly to the change of literary style in late Han Dynasty.Although he did not make many efforts to compose Fu as he considered Fu to be of secondary class，he had considerable achievements in Fu.According to textual research，18 of his Fu are now available which，generally speaking，are of various topics and short length，expressing sincere personal feelings.All those features in his Fu are typical of a time of changes in literary style and had a direct and profound influence on literatures in Jian′an Period and Wei and Jin Dynasties.
