Abstract: Generative artificial intelligence, with ChatGPT as a representative technology of the new generation of artificial intelligence, has ideological attributes due to the ideological orientation of algorithm design and data selection, the ideological nature of autonomous learning and computing to generate new content, and the influence on social public opinion and ideological environment. In the online public discourse space, generative artificial intelligence may increase the risk of ideological infiltration due to data bias and algorithmic discrimination, which may result in the displacement of labor subject and object and lead to the risk of ideological fragmentation, and may lead to the usurpation of value rationality by instrumental rationality and trigger the risk of ideological degeneration. Therefore, we need to focus on independent research and development of generative artificial intelligence technology, adhering to ethics and mainstream values, and use "Chinese discourse" to compete against "Western discourse".
