ON THE PERFECTION OF THE PROTECTION OF THE SAFETY RIGHT FOR CONSUMERS——A FOOD SAFETY LAW PERSPECTIVE

Abstract:

Safety right is the most important and fundamental consumer right which has been severely violated by the repeated occurrence of food safety incidents in recent years.This paper explains the perfection of food safety system by Food Safety Law,which is trying to punish the illegal acts in food production and distribution,holding that the following measures guarantee food safety: establishing regulatory food safety supervision and risk assessing system,introducing unified food safety standards,reinforcing restrictions on the use of food additives,enhancing the sense of social responsibility and legal duty of food producers and distributors.It is important to enhance government supervision over food safety,and consumers′ awareness of food safety.
