Abstract:

Carbonate sediments dominate in the platform in I and II Members,Jialingjiang formation,Lower Triassic, eastern Sichuan basin. The Coarse-textured carbonates which occur in these sediments are divided into three types:(1)coarse-textured carbonates of bank facies comtroled by normal wave and tidal currents,(2)those of storm facies formed by storm wave and currents,(3)those of tidal channel facies deposited by rapid tidal currents. Their characteristics vary in lithology. They are main reservoir beds in I and II Members of Jialingjiang formation. The coarse-textured carbonates of bank facies are best in the reservoir property.
