Abstract: ShuangYang Formation of Paleogene can be divided into two three order sequences and five system tracts through recognizing the subaerial unconformity, the maximum regression surface, the maximum flooding surface on the basis of well logging and seismic data. The sequence stratigraphyⅠincludes the first and second section of Shuang Yang Formation and is composed of the lowstand system tract, transgressive system tract and highstand system tract. The sequence stratigraphy Ⅱ includes part of section three of Shuangyang and is composed of the lowstand system tract and transgressive system tract. This paper identifies the sedimentation of forced regression in highstand system tract, the developing process and the boundary of deposition system in different period by using seismic sedimentology approach which is seismic attribution halving method. At last, four combination caps and reservoirs are predicted.

Key words: sequence stratigraphy, seismic attribution, boundary of depositional system, reservoir seal assemblage, Shuangyang Formation
