Research of Humic Acid Salt as Emulsifying Agent of Jilin Heavy Oil

Abstract

Abstract: The emulsifying performance of humic acid salt as emulsifier is studied by evaluating the stability of emulsion
within doors. The results indicate that the humic acid salt can be used as emulsifying agent to reduce the viscosity of heavy oil.
The emulsifying effect is different for different humic acid salts produced by different manufacturing technique from discrepant
material. The emulsibility of humic acid salt can be improved obviously by joining sodium hydroxide. Humic acid salt can
improve the stability of emulsion produced by surfactant，especially the non-ionic surfactants.
