摘要：

以圣元寺现存七通碑文为切入点，研究隋唐至明清圣元寺的兴衰历史，分析圣元寺兴衰的原因，探讨圣元寺与南诏大
理国观音建国信仰之间的关系以及元代以后圣元寺观音建国信仰向民间宗教信仰转变的历程。

关键词: 圣元寺, 碑刻, 南诏, 大理, 观音建国信仰

Abstract:

The article studies the history of the Shengyuan Temple from Sui- Tang Dynasties to Ming- Qing Dynasties through
reviewing the tablets in the temple, analyzes the reason for the flourishing and decline of this temple, and discusses the relationship between the Shenyuan Temple and Avalokitesvara-build-kingdom belief of Nanzhao and Dali Kingdom, as well as the changing process of the Avalokitesvara- build-kingdom belief to the folk belief after the Yuan Dynasty in this temple.
