Abstract: 〔Abstract〕Objective: To observe the clinical effect of the combination of the lumbar sympathetic nerve block and sarpogrelate
hydrochloride in the treatment of patients with complex regional pain syndrome（CRPS）of lower limbs. Methods: 152 patients with
CRPS type Ⅰ were randomly divided into group Ⅰ and group Ⅱ, 76 cases in each group. Patients in group Ⅰ were treated simply with
lumbar sympathetic nerve block, while patients in group Ⅱ were treated with lumbar sympathetic nerve block combined with
sarpogrelate hydrochloride. The visual analogue scores（VAS）and efficacy of the two groups were evaluated before and after treatment
for 1 and 6 months. Results: There was significant difference in the improvement of symptoms and efficiency between before and after
treatment for 1 and 6 months of treatment（P＜0.05）in the two groups. No complications occurred in both groups. Conclusion:
Lumbar sympathetic nerve block combined with sarpogrelate hydrochloride for CRPS-Ⅰ of lower limbs relieves pain and hyperalgesia,
improves malnutrition symptoms in lower limbs such as weakness, ice-cold, sweating disorder. It is an effective treatment method for
patients with CRPS-Ⅰ.
