Abstract: Objective: In order to improve the extraction rate of polysaccharides from Triplostegia glandulifera. Methods: Phenol-
sulfuric acid method was used to quantitatively analyze polysaccharides from T. glandulifera. Based on the results of single factor
experiment , the extraction process of polysaccharides from T. glandulifera was optimized by response surface methodology. Results:
The best conditions for the response surface optimization were as follows: liquid-material ratio was 1 : 39(W/V), extraction temperature
was 89 ℃, extraction times was 3, and extracting time was 3.97 h. The average extraction rate of polysaccharide was 5.97% under the
optimal conditions. Conclusion: It is reasonable and feasible to optimize the extraction conditions of the polysaccharides from T.
glandulifera by response surface methodology combined with single factor investigation. The data can provide a theoretical basis for the
further exploitation and utilization of T. glandulifera.
