Abstract:

With the help of CiteSpace 5.7.R1，a knowledge graph software，this article conducted a visual analysis of the number of papers published， the research institutions， the research authors and the key issues to grasp the basic trends of sports studies in the context of the Belt and Road Initiative. According to the results， there was a year-by-year increase in the number of papers published in the field， which were mainly released from comprehensive sports universities such as the Beijing Sport University， the Capital University of Physical Education and Sports， etc. Leading figures in the field of research included Wang Zipu， Zhu Yacheng， Zhang Liangxiang and Liu Donglei， who formed a limited number of research groups due to low density of the co-occurrence network. Research topics mainly involved national traditional sports culture， sports culture， sports industry， sports tourism， sporting events， etc.
