Abstract: Mark Bender is a representative and accomplished scholar in the field of Chinese ethnic minority literature translation and
dissemination. This paper systematically explores his translational identity, text selection and translation style. It fully demonstrates his
pioneering efforts and fruitful achievements in promoting the English transmission of Chinese ethnic minority literature. Meanwhile,
this article highlights his extraordinary contributions to promoting the English translation and global recognition of Chinese ethnic
minority literature. The research can provide effective theoretical support and methodological references for Chinese ethnic minority
literature to break through the limitations of domestic literary circulation and integrate into the global world literature system.
