Abstract:  Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization, the Party and the state have been advancing ecological
civilization with unprecedented vigor. As a vital ecological barrier in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, Chongqing plays a crucial
role in promoting the implementation of the green development strategy. In the process of environmental restoration and ecological
governance, local state-owned enterprises in Chongqing have served as the main force. Based on thorough research and taking a large integrated state-owned environmental enterprise in Chongqing as an example, this paper explores the practices and implications of state-owned enterprises in advancing Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization.
