Abstract:

Positive psychology and peer mutual aid are both basic idea of the value of humanism and helping people to help
themselves. Taking the adaptability of peer mutual aid in group activities as an example, this paper uses the comparative experiment
with experimental class and controlled class. Six group counselings were carried out in experimental class for elevating the adaptation
while the controlled class remained as usual. Two adaptability tests were carried out on the two classes before the intervention and after
intervention. The research found that the total score and the various dimensions of the experimental class were significantly improved
(P<0.001)after the intervention, and the total score and five factors were significantly improved in the experimental group(P<0.05)
compared with the controlled group. So we can conclude that the ideas of peer mutual aid group activities have a significant effect on
enhancing the adaptability based on positive psychology.
