Abstract: To explore tourism resource of Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture and improve the inter-relationships of national A-grade
tourist districts, it is essential to optimize spatial construction of national A-grade tourist districts across the prefecture. This study
takes 23 national A-grade tourist districts in Dali as the analysis object, combining GIS spatial analysis and statistical methods to
explore the spatial distribution patterns of national A- grade tourist districts. The results could provide basic decision- making
information for upgrading and creating national A-grade tourist districts in Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture.
