Abstract:       Studying the current situation and mode of Chinese teaching for the South Asian international students of MBBS in Dali University, the present paper tries to promote teaching effects through improving the mode of Chinese character teaching. Based on the  comprehensive course of Chinese, and focusing on the Chinese character teaching, a hypothesis of phased teaching is proposed and verified in classroom practices.
