Abstract: The key to the revitalization of the countryside lies in the revitalization of rural traditional culture. The features of Guizhou's multi-ethnicities determine its cultural carrying patterns and forms of expression. Traditional ethnic villages are the external symbolic configurations of national culture, and human beings are the core carrier and derivation of culture. In recent years, along with the rise of the "labor tide", rural labor forces have flooded into the cities, resulting in the phenomenon of "empty nest villages". The traditional ethnic natural villages have been gradually dispelled by the flood of the new era. The continuous development of traditional ethnic villages, the inheritance of traditional ethnic cultures and their symbiotic requirement are facing a dilemma. Regarding the choice of rural revitalization path in Guizhou, it should be considered based on the livelihood of the villagers and their evolution, the internal logic of the villagers' livelihoods and the reconstruction of the village culture, the plight of the reconstruction of the traditional ethnic minority culture, and the construction of the traditional ethnic villages.
