Abstract:
From the external influences on bronze production technology and the crop cultivation techniques, it is not difficult to find
out that from the late Neolithic period to the Bronze Age, the cultural exchanges between Haimenkou and other areas showed a
distinctive feature of one-way absorption. The cultures of the northwestern region, the Yellow River Basin, and the middle and lower
reaches of the Yangtze River have had some direct or indirect effects on the late Neolithic culture and bronze culture in the Haimenkou
area. These effects were mainly manifested in technologies such as bronze making and crop cultivation. Among them, the influence of
the northwestern region in the late Neolithic period and the early Bronze Age on the culture of Haimenkou was comparatively profound.
Therefore, it does not conform to the historical reality of early social development of Yunnan in the late Neolithic and early Bronze Ages
if we simply use a large-scale population flow to explain the influence of foreign culture on the culture of Haimenkou and exaggerate
the influence of foreign Neolithic culture and Bronze culture on the Haimenkou culture.

Key words: Haimenkou relics, bronze technology, crop cultivation, northwest region
