Abstract: "Yuan Qi Lun" was the core guiding ideology of the ancient Chinese philosophers in the understanding of the natural world
of all things. It began in the pre-Qin Dynasty and was completed in the Han Dynasty. The medical family of Taoist inner alchemy
developed the "Yuan Qi theory(the theory of inborn vitality)" into the "Yuan Qi theory(the theory of postnatal energy)", and made
strict distinctions between the two concepts. On this basis, "the Theory of Tao Qi" was put forward by converging and integrating the
concepts with the thoughts of "Taoist Origins" of the pre-Qin Yili Taoism, which is marked with distinct and orderly imprint of the
Taoist view of life.
