Abstract

Abstract:
Rural domestic waste problems has obvious characteristics of the time, and is closely related to the level of social and
economic development, people's ideological understanding, resource utilization, and the mode of production and life. At present, the
tragedy of the commons" phenomenon of rural domestic waste is prominent, which has become a major problem affecting the
agricultural and rural development. This paper aims to provide beneficial exploration for the effective management of rural household
waste through reviewing the characteristics and changes of rural domestic waste, analyzing its causes from the theory of "tragedy of the
commons", and pointing out the historical opportunities.
