Abstract: In order to solve the different requirements of traditional houses to adapt to modern residential functions and increase the
durability of structures, Dali has carried out a variety of different renovation practices for traditional Bai folk houses. This paper studies
and analyzes the adverse effects of new materials and new construction methods on the durability and safety of traditional residential
buildings. In order to provide a feasible direction for the renovation of traditional houses, this paper puts forward some effective
solutions.
