Building Cultural Community Awareness in Folk Language Programs:A Case Study on Bai Minority Language Program Hai Si Guo Qiu

Abstract:

For thousands of years, China's multi-ethnic lifestyle has been intertwined and culturally blended, forming a cultural
community that recognizes and belongs to civilization. As an important carrier and dissemination platform of cultural community, ethnic language programs have significant constructive significance in forming ethnic cultural identity and consolidating cultural community awareness. As the only Bai minority language program in the country and the only folk language program in Dali Bai minority Autonomous Prefecture, Hai Si Guo Qiu achieves the media integration and dissemination of traditional television, websites, and short video social software in the era of integrated media, promoting Bai culture, showcasing the spiritual value core of "common culture", establishing an emotional structure based on social media as a communication platform, ethnic and national identity and belonging, and building a cultural community with common space, memory, and goals, so that people of all ethnic groups can obtain the source of power for mutual prosperity and symbiosis from the same origin civilization.
