Abstract: Xi Jinping Thought on Culture emphasizes adhering to the people-centered work orientation, which is the concrete embodiment of the affinity to the people of Marxism in the cultural field, the modernization of traditional Chinese culture, and the practical requirement of building a strong socialist culture. Adhering to the people-centered work orientation requires that cultural development is made by the people and for the people, and the fruits of the development are shared by all. In the practice of cultural development, we must adhere to the basic principle of putting social benefits first and unifying social and economic benefits. We should give priority to the flourishing development of socialist literature and art, improve the level of public cultural services and the quality of the development of cultural industries, promote the deep integration of culture and tourism, and deepen the reform of cultural institutions and mechanisms so as to provide sufficient impetus for the prosperity and development of socialist culture.
