Abstract:  The essay collection Erhai Notes, recipient of the 13th Junma Award for Chinese Ethnic Literature, is authored by Beiyan, a young Bai writer from Dali. Taking the journey around Erhai Lake as its temporal and spatial axis, the work intertwines personal observations with ecological, cultural, and historical dimensions of Erhai. Through its literary expression, Erhai Notes conveys the regional culture and ethnic consciousness centered on Erhai, offering distinctive aesthetic value rooted in both humanistic and ecological dimensions.
