Abstract: The development of Shandong's folk culture exhibits characteristics of coexisting diversity, with numerous types of folk
cultural resources preserved across the province. Various regions have undertaken a series of proactive and beneficial explorations and
attempts to protect and develop these resources. However, development efforts still face challenges such as insufficient government
macro-management, a shortage of high-quality inheritors, limited cultural development channels, and weak resource development
capabilities. Efforts must be made across multiple dimensions: strengthening resource protection, integrating folk culture into school
education, broadening development channels, and building cultural industries. This will achieve a progressive and deeply integrated
approach to protecting, inheriting, developing, and innovating folk culture. Such measures will ensure Shandong's folk culture retains
its vibrant vitality amidst the impact of diverse cultures, providing the public with an unending source of spiritual and cultural strength.
