The Strategic Significance of the Establishment of Sino-India Free Trade Area

Nowdays the economic globalization and regional economic integration are two big trends in the world economy
development. With the development of the world economy, every country takes the policy of walking on two legs, namely on one hand blending in the economic globalization process, on the other hand participating in regional economic integration actively. Complying with the trend of the world development Chinese and Indian governments and their leaders are actively carrying out the economic and trade cooperation between them and promoting the establishment of the Sino-India free trade area vigorously. The establishment of Sino-India free trade area will deepen bilateral trade and economic cooperation, enhance mutual political trust, and develop the
cooperation in non-traditional security fields.
