Taking samples from Dali University, this study explored minority college student's adaptability to English network
teaching, which was studied from four factors including the awareness and attitude of on-line autonomous learning, computer and network application skills, self-regulatory capability of on-line learning, and the teacher. The results revealed that students had generally low adaptability to on-line learning and considerable students poorly adapted. The main causes were lack of computer operation skills, ambiguous study aim, poor self-regulatory capability of autonomous learning, and lack of proper strategies. The study offered suggestions and guidance to improve minority college student's English autonomous learning ability in the web-based mode and eliminate unfavorable factors.
