Abstract:

The number of colleges and universities has been greatly increased in our country. There is no doubt that the institutes have performed effective functions in serving the economic construction and thus achieved social benefits, but at the same time anticorruption confronts a serous situation. This paper lists the corruption phenomenon in both economic and academic aspects, showing that colleges and universities are no longer a pure land. It further suggests that the countermeasures against the corruption include sticking to the principles for the selection of cadres, strengthening incorrupt education of the leaders, as well as attaching importance to the system of cadre exchange.
