Abstract:

The people-oriented principle is the core thought of the Scientific Outlook on Development, embodying the Marxist world outlook and methodology on the development. If the university is determined to adhere to the principle, it should emerge from the simple student-centered and teacher-centered situation which occurred in the past, and give the principle a new definition, which lays emphasis on the comprehensive development of students, teachers' earnest performance of their duties, and meeting people's fundamental educational needs.
