Abstract: China has witnessed the emergence of English scientific journals in colleges and universities in recent years. As it is difficult for the requests for a CN number for publication to be approved,the journals usually choose to operate their English versions overseas in cooperation with internationally well-known publishing institutions in foreign countries. These journals bring together the academic,capital and talent advantages of domestic institutions,and are expected to form an important platform for building an innovation-oriented country so as to promote the reform of academic journals in China. We suggest that China's journal management authorities should make more efforts to support these attempts by establishing a more complete management system for domestic publication of such journals. At the same time,certification and continuing education of English journal editors should also be done,so as to cultivate editorial talents specializing in academic English edition,and to speed up the process of internationalization of China's science and technology journals.
