Abstract: In the celebration conference for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that the great party spirit is the source of the spirit of the Communist Party of China. During its endeavors over the past century, the CPC has developed a great spirit that plays a vital role in the Chinese revolution and socialist construction. The theoretical foundation of "upholding truth and ideals" has inspired the CPC to break through obstacles; the practical foundation of "staying true to its founding mission" has strengthened the Party's responsibility to work diligently for the people; the spirit of "fighting without fear of danger" has tempered the resilience of the Party; the value foundation of "meeting the people's expectations" has confirmed the Party's determination to serve the people. The great spirit of Party building is the source of the Party's vitality, the genetic code of the Party's one hundred years of vigor, and the spiritual source of the CPC's success.
