Abstract: The integrated development of urban and rural areas and the revitalization of rural culture is an important strategic plan of the Party and the state in the new era, and it is the key to building a new type of urban-rural relationship and realizing the comprehensive revitalization of the country. The integration of urban and rural culture and the revitalization of rural culture have a close logical correlation, which contributes to the formation of an in-depth synergistic pattern of urban and rural culture and coexistence and co-prosperity through the construction of the urban and rural cultural community be means of mutual embeddedness, resource sharing and cooperation between the subjects. However, under the influence of the long-term urban-rural dual structure, the strong urban and weak rural pattern still exists, and the gap between urban and rural cultural development is still significant. In the new stage of development, it is necessary to comprehensively activate the endogenous impetus for the cultural development of the rural areas, and to promote the realization of the cultural revitalization of the countryside in all aspects, in all processes, and in all areas in the form of space integration of urban and rural culture, which is driven by the integration of urban and rural cultural industries, guaranteed by the integration of urban and rural public cultural services, supported by the integration of urban and rural talent, and founded by the integration of urban and rural governance.

Key words: urban-rural integration, cultural revitalization, high-quality development, rural revitalization, grassroots governance
