摘要:

确定钻头上下倾钻进方向及其在目标层中的位置是水平井地质导向钻井中的一个重要问题。介绍一种基于MWD和LWD测量信息实时确定水平井钻井中钻头上下倾钻进方向及其在目标层中位置的实用方法。该法从地质导向几何理论出发,根据井眼轨迹上相邻两点连线到水平线的夹角与地层倾角的关系有效地判断与调整钻头的上行下行钻进方向,同时通过求取钻头离目标层顶界的距离h或对比随钻测井曲线与邻井电缆测井曲线来确定钻头在目标层中的位置。将该法应用于XJMB油田3口水平井的实时钻井中,明显地提高了地质导向钻井的能力,取得了良好的随钻跟踪地质目标效果。

Abstract:

It is an important problem of horizontal well geo-steering drilling to determine the up and down direction of bit marching and the position of the bit in the target formation. This paper introduced a practical method to solve the problem by using MWD and LWD information. Based on the geo-steering geometry theory, in terms of the relation between the formation dip angle and the angle of horizontal line to the line of two adjacent points on wellbore trace, This method can judge the bit up-down direction and determine the position by the distance of the bit from the top surface of target formation and comparing the logging curves with conventional cable logging curves from adjacent wells. This approach was applied to the practical drilling in three Horizontal wells, and then the geo-steering drilling ability was obviously improved and the result of following the tracks of geology target layer while drilling was obtained.
