GENESIS OF CO2 AND RESERVOIR FORMING CONDITIONS IN EASTERN PART OF LINQING DEPRESSION

Abstract:

CO2 resources are well developed in eastern part of Linqing Depression,and have been discovered both in Paleozoic and Neogene system.Based on the latest exploration and research achievements,combing with practice in adjacent Jiyang Depression and Dongpu sag,this paper analyzes the genesis of CO2 in eastern part of Linqing Depression,and point out that it is mantle magma derived CO2,while shallow buried gas may contain associated gas during generation of coal derived gaseous hydrocarbon.Based on the sectional anatomy of typical gas reservoir,it can be concluded that tectonic movements such as faulting and magmatic activity are significant to reservoir forming of CO2 in eastern part of Linqing Depression,and consequently summarized favorable exploration structural belts and CO2 resource potential.
