Abstract: In this paper the diagenesis and the diagenetic environments, as well as their controlling affect on the hydrocarbon reservoir space of Jian Tian Ba spongy reef have been studied, the modle of the porosity evolution in diagenetic history has been established. Taking Jian Tian Ba spongy reef as an example, we are trying to present some petrographic theoretical bases for evaluation of the reservoir conditions of Permian organic reefs in the East Sichuan-West Hubei area.
