Invitation to contribute the Journal of Southwest Petroleum University (Science &Technology Edition)
The Introduction of the Journal
The Journal of Southwest Petroleum University (Science &Technology Edition), formerly known as the Journal of Southwest Petroleum Institute, was found in 1960. It is an academic periodical which is approved by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and Technology and Press and Publication Administration, sponsored by Southwest Petroleum University, issued publicly at home and abroad, mainly publishes petroleum science and technology papers.
The Range of Contributions Solicited
The journal covers geological exploration, oil and natural gas engineering, oil and gas chemical engineering and chemical industry, oil and mechanical engineering, PhD Review and discussion and contending sections. It is the ideal platform where teachers and students in colleges, scientific researchers in Academy and petroleum science and technology workers publish research results, exchange information and draw academic essence. The journal gives first priority to the National Natural Foundation project’s and the provincial and ministerial level social science projects’ periodic achievements.
The Requirements of Contribution received
The author alone is responsible for the opinions expressed in his article. If the thesis issued by the author has political error, false information, disclosure, as well as violation of the legitimate rights and interests of other citizens or corporation, the author should take full responsibility and compensate for the journal.
1. The contents of the thesis should have insights in high academic level of the involved areas. The thesis has clear points, substantial content, clear logic, rigorous exposition and incisive words, with less use of conjunctions and foreign-language abbreviation.
2. The thesis should have titles both in English and in Chinese, author, institution, abstract and key words. The appropriate number of abstract is about 300, and the number of key words is about five.
3. The thesis should be accompanied by biography, including name, sex, and date of birth, birth place, work unit, professional title, degree, research direction, etc; LCCAS; notes and references.
4. Strictly prohibiting coping or plagiarizing results. Once discovered, the author will be exposed, garnished or recovered contribution fee, and other articles of the first author will no longer be published. We will notify their work unit and submit to criticism and education.
Handling Contributions
1. For manuscripts, the journal applies anonymously external review system. Please write clearly the contact address, Email, telephone number (preferably mobile number) when sending contributions, we will inform authors the results of review contributions by electronic information.
2. After manuscripts passed examine and verify, we will tacitly approve that the author consents the priority of digital publication in CNKI before printing of paper, otherwise the author needs to state later when submitting the contribution for publication.
3. Once manuscripts have been released, we will pay remuneration in full and present the sample journal; we will not return the contributions out of use, the authors need to leave original manuscript by themselves.
4. Please do not contribute more. If not receive the offer letter of the journal or the notice that requiring author to revise the contribution, the author can handle on his own. If submitting an article many times causes repeated publication, we will garnish or retrieve the contribution fee and no longer publish other articles of the first author.
5. The journal will charge the publication fee for the published thesis.
6. Prohibiting other media reprinting and excerpting his work that proves his author rights. Since September 2006, the journal has no longer signed publication transfer agreement with the author, therefore, if the author does not consent other media to reprint and excerpt his work, please make statements when sending contributions, otherwise, we will take it as agreement.
