Abstract: The method of weighted residuals is used to analyse the force acting
on drilling string and the deformation of it in this paper .T herefore，the
process of analysis and derivation has greatly been simplified, Compared
with the reference paper(2)it is proved that the Method used in this
paper is agreeable to drilling wello
