Abstract

Abstract: Moveable gel (MG) displacement adjustment is a developing IOR/EOR new technology.It is also called improved polymer flooding or technical upgrading of polymer flooding.In this paper,the research and application of moveable gel displacement adjustment technology for Menggulin conventional heavy reservoirs from laboratory to field is introduced.It is indicated that MG displacement adjustment is of the advantages of both deep profile control and polymer flooding,and can effectively"plug"large pore channels,improve mobility ratio and solve the problems on both vertical and horizontal directions.As a kind of displacement mode,MG displacement adjustment can effectively solve water flood development problem of common heterogeneous heavy oil reservoir occurring at late stage of development.Since the beginning pilot test 5 years,the accumulative incremental oil has been 5.88×10⁴t.The test has achieved good technical and economic effect.
