Abstract: Effect of rock coreshearing for hydrophobically associating polymer and the ordinary linear high molecule polymer solution on polymer solution rheology behavior is studied, the rheology curves of two types of polymer solution before sheared is tested, and the rheology property is analyzed. Manmade cores are used to test coreshearing, rheology cures of sheared polymer solutions are tested and rheology properties analyzed by comparison. And then, to imitate the situation of polymer solution in the deep oil reservoir after layer shearing, the resistance factor and residual resistance factor experiments of coreshearing polymer solutions are determined. The researches have important value and implications for EOR.
